The Worcester Public Library will be renovating its existing facility in order to better support the residents of the City of Worcester. This $12.7 million in capital improvements to the facility will enable the library to keep up with the renaissance taking place in the city. Since the last renovation of the library in 2001, technology has changed library use dramatically. Spaces within the library need to evolve in order to meet the needs of current and future library users. The new library structure will evolve to better support the new technologies being deployed, new programs being offered, and a more diverse population. Check out the drawings of what is to come!
